Materials Needed
- Measuring tape
- Beading wire
- End cutters
- Pliers
- Crimp beads
- A jump ring
- Lobster-claw clasp
- A pack of pretty beads
Instructions
First, take the measurement of your ankle. Mark out this measurement on the beaded wire; adding about 4 inches to it. Now, use the end cutters to cut the beading wire to the marked length.
Next, place a crimp bead on the beading wire. Now, string the clasp on behind the beading wire. Secure the end of the beading wire by bending the wire back and then, threading the end through the crimp bead.
It is time to fit the beads on the wire. Simply choose the beads you want to use and fix them on the wire in any pattern that you like. Leave about 1 and 1/2 inches of the wire without any beads.
Now, thread a crimp bead on the end of the beading wire then add the jump ring. Fold the end of the wire backwards, through the crimp bead and tighten it. Ensure that you crimp the bead to secure the anklet.
You can decorate your homemade anklet with fun charms and bells. You may also use multiple strands of beads to give your anklet a layered look.
