How to make a Ribbon Choker

Learn how to make a ribbon choker for free on Elistatus. It is really easy and will not take so much of time. Here is how to go about it.

Materials Needed

  • A length of ribbon (14 inches or more depending on the size of your neck)
  • A decorative centrepiece like a button, miniature silk or flowers
  • Hook and loop closures (like glue)
  • Scissors
  • Hot melt glue gun
  • Ruler
  • Measuring tape

Instructions

First, mark out the measurement of your neck. Now, mark these measurements on the length of the ribbon. The ribbon should be very flexible.

If you are using a flower, tie the stem of the flower in an overhand knot against the base of the flower. Cut off the excess flower using the scissors.

Now, choose two closures for your choker. One of the closures should be the hook while the other will be the loop.

Attach the Velcro to the necklace. The loop should point towards your neck while hooks should point away from the neck.

Now, trim off the excess Velcro carefully.

Apply a little glue to fix the flower or any other decorative material of your choice to the choker.
