Types of Spanish Visa

  1. Short-term visa (maximum stay of 90 days)
  2. Long Term visa

Necessary Requirements

Below are the required documents for a short stay business visa to Spain:

  1. International passport valid for at least six months after the stipulated date of travel and validity exceeding three(3) months after your scheduled return . Please also provide your previous passport and two full blank pages to affix the visa.
  2. Three colored copies of the identification page of the passport.
  3. Completed visa application form filled and signed (one in Spanish and one in English).
  4. Two recent passport-sized photographs not more than 3 months old which capture the entire face with a white background. frontal view (3.5cm x 4.5cm). Photographs should not be stapled to the applications. Please provide one recent photograph (not more than 1-month-old) of yourself, which should not have been used previously in the passport. Please stick the Photograph on the Visa Application Form.
  5. The sum of the 18,000 Visa application fee to be paid. All payments are to be paid in cash at implant GT Bank at the center.
  6. Coloured photocopies of previous visas (Schengen, USA, UK, Canada, Japan, Australia), if any.
  7. Travel insurance covering all Schengen countries, with a minimum coverage of about 30.000, for:
    A. – Medical treatment, B. – Emergency admission into hospital,  C. – Repatriation;
  8. Letter of invitation from the organizers if you are attending a conference, seminar, workshop, or a sporting event stating the name of the host organization, duration of stay, or other documents proving the reason for embarking on the journey, e.g. entry tickets, enrolments of programs.
  9. Employed applicants are to provide an introductory letter from their employer with states the date the applicant’s employment began, the annual salary, the granted leave period, and resumption date with salary slips three months back. Personal bank statement three months back, reflecting salary slips stamped and signed by the bank. OR an introductory letter from your own company as well as the other information if you are self-employed.
  10. Letter from the school or university For scholars (professors, scholarship-holders, lecturers,
    instructors, etc.) and students.
  11. Payslips or account balance for the past six months.
  12. Personal Statement of Account for the past six months and that of your company, if you are being sponsored.
  13. General income generated by the property, certificates, bonds, etc. and proof of connection to Nigeria,  marriage certificate if you’re married.
  14. Hotel reservation/ accommodation information for the duration of the intended stay in Spain.
  15. Flight ticket/schedules indicating the date for arrival and exit from Spain.
